365 Night Trial
In order to ensure the sleeping comfort of all our valued customers, Florida Mattress offers you a one time exchange when you purchase a mattress and box spring set or a mattress for use on a platform bed. The trial period begins the night your mattress is delivered.

If your mattress is too hard or too soft, or does not provide you with restful sleep, you can exchange your mattress for up to 1 year. Because this is a new bed and it takes around 21 nights to break in your new sleep system, Florida Mattress Store will not accept exchanges before 21 nights. If after 21 nights but before 1 year , you are not completely satisfied with the sleeping comfort of your bedding, we will gladly exchange your bedding for bedding of equal or greater value.

HOW IT WORKS:

The only cost to you is the retail price difference of the new bedding versus the old bedding and $45 delivery fee, (plus sales tax where applicable), incurred during the re-selection process.

If you select a mattress less expensive than your original mattress there will be no refund or store credit.

To qualify for your one time comfort exchange your mattress must be in "like new" condition. We suggest using a mattress protector to protect from soiling as well as dust mites.

This comfort exchange offer does not apply to the following items: Custom size mattresses, adjustable bed bases, clearance and as-is mattresses.

What are the dimensions of a mattress?
What should you consider when buying a new mattress?
Comfort, support and durability are the most important factors to look for first. After that, take price into consideration.
How do you test a new mattress out?
  1. Remove your shoes and lie on the bed.
  2. Lie down in several different positions, especially the one you sleep in.
  3. Pay close attention to lower back support and posture alignment, and make sure you feel plenty of comfort at the shoulders and hips.
  4. If you share a bed, shop with your partner so the selection of your new bed is made together.
Does my sleep position matter when selecting a new mattress?
Yes, sleep positions matters in terms of which pressure points are affected during sleep, as well as how the spine is supported. Because each individual sleeper is different, the only way to determine which mattress and comfort level works best for your sleep position is to test out the different mattresses in the store. It helps to talk to the salesperson about which options are available so they can make recommendations based on your personal needs.
Does a mattress have to be firm to be supportive?

How long should a mattress last?

On average, a mattress lasts 7-10 years, but this can vary based on the mattress type, quality, and how well it's cared for.

Can I return a mattress if it’s uncomfortable?

Most stores offer a trial period (usually 90-120 days) during which you can exchange the mattress if it's not comfortable. We allow you to try your mattress for 365 nights to make sure it is the right feel.

How can I protect my mattress from wear and tear?

Use a mattress protector to guard against spills, stains, and allergens, and rotate your mattress regularly to ensure even wear.
